We met on a summer night at Nicks on 2nd. Jacob knew if he saw Sami again he'd have to make a connection. A couple weeks later he ran out of the bar at light speed to give Sami a note. His name and number. That boldness runs in the O'Connor blood. His grandfather William O'Connor met his grandmother Gloria Ochoa on the bus in the same fashion, William kept riding that bus to see Gloria again. Grandma Gloria invited Grandpa William over for tamales and he never left.

Sami and Jacobs love story started that summer of 2023. On our first date Jacob has to break the news of his newly broken arm but that didn't mean we couldn't have a good time. Along the way we discovered a few of our favorite things: basking in the sun on the Peninsula in Long Beach, movie marathons, traveling together and making great memories. Best of all we found our gym buddies for life.

Jacob took Sami back to one of their favorite destinations, Temecula. Where he proposed on July 5th the same date of our first date 2 years prior. We are so excited to enter this new stage of our lives together. Jacob is so supportive of Sami's goals and dreams. He would wake up at 4 AM for four months straight to send her off to academy. Sami hopes she can show Jacob all the love and happiness that he deserves and more.
